Abstract :

This article is an effort to reconsider the Third World’s position in contemporary international relations, that is globalization. The writer believe that the position has the connection with the Third World’s past in the age of Western Colonialism. Therefore, this article tries to track back the tragedy. Regarding the theoretical-lack of previous theories, the writer tries to find a new frame of analysis to reconstruct the very tragedy. Lacanian Psychoanalysis offers a decent one. By applying Lacanian Psychoanalysis, the writer found that Colonialism is an implantation of Inferiority Complex in the colonized’s head. I conclude this was the factor that obstructs a true anti-colonialism resistance.
