The government of China fully supports SMEs. But, what about India? It has many icons of technology, such as Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, and Infosys. Not only technologies, but also many kinds of Multinational Corporations (MNCs), which is called Indian Based (IB) MNCs. This paper discusses the economic patterns of India. Does it based on IB MNC, SMEs, or both. Using neoliberalism approach and economic powerhouse theory, I conclude that India has multiple-paths to growth in their economic power. It is characterized by the combination of IB MNCs, SMEs, and government to reach their emerging economic. SMEs has greater influence than IB MNCs, but without IB MNCs, India can’t reach economic emerge. The position of government of India itself as a regulator with their policy.
