Abstract :
Globalization, on the one hand can be beneficial, but on the other hand can be harmfull.Groups most vulnerable to the negative effects of globalization are marginalized.Customary Villagers in Bali is very close to all the influences of globalizationvulnerable to the marginalized. This can happen through culture abandon that hasraised the name of Bali due to the prosperity provided by modern life and globalization.The old-fashioned rules of customary village awig-awig now also deemed no longerrelevant to accommodate changing times. In order for indigenous villagers in Balilater was excluded due to the negative effects of globalization, they must find a wayto defend themselves. In one case Bugbug traditional village, Karangasem, Bali it isshown to no longer use the old-fashioned rules, customary regulatory adjustmentsmade accordance with changing times.
