Abstract :

  ABSTRACT   Exclusive  breastfeeding was one  government programs that target low coverage. One cause of low coverage of exclusive breastfeeding is the attitude,  knowledge and  behavior  of poor  mothers to exclusively breast  program.  The purpose of this research is to analyze  the  behavior  factor in breastfeeding mothers in Bojonegoro theory  approach to health  belief  model and  the  theory  of planned behavior.  This type  of research is a cross-sectional analytic  study approach. Population and the respondents in this study were mothers with infants aged 6 to 12 months. The study was conducted at the research Bojonegoro. The results  are based on the results  of multiple logistic regression together of the two theories can be seen that the Health belief models self-efficacy is dominant variable \ to the beta value of 5.215 with significant  level 0.000 (p < 0.05). Meanwhile, in the theory of planned behavior  showed that factors  perceived of behavioral  control with a beta  value of 3.947  with significant  level 0.000  (p<  0.05). The conclusion of this research is in both  theories obtained results  that the dominant variable is the perceived behavior  control and self-efficacy, which means that the mother  is able to breastfeed exclusively and have the freedom to breastfeed exclusively.   Keywords: Exclusive  Breastfeeding, Theory Health Belief Model  and Theory of Planned  Behavior
