Dominant factors which influence employees intention towards change based on planned of behavior

Abstract :
Change always involves individual transformation. Individual response was not only rational but it also involves rejection response (resistance). The purposes of this study is to analyze dominant factors which influence employee’s intention to do change at Nursing Department. This is an observational study conducted cross sectional. Samples are taken by proportional sampling from all employees of Nursing Department, amounting to 116 people including lecturers, administrative, and management staff. Data is collected through questionnaires. Study result is tested with Fishbein model, factor and multiple linear regression analysis. Study result showed F value was 7.263 with significance level 0.000 (p<0.05) meaning: attitude towards behavior, subjective norm, perceived behavior control and employee’s anxiety had significant influence on intention to do change. T-test result showed that attitude towards change had a significant influence on the intention to do change. The significance value of attitude was 0.000 (p<0.05). The attitude towards behavior was the dominant factor influencing the intention to change.
