Abstract :
Abstract The research looked at Al Irsyad movement dynamics in affecting change in people of Arab descent North Surabaya Especially Ampel. Discuss issues that occur at Al Irsyad movement in North Surabaya Ampel, researchers formulate problems that flow processes Al Irsyad movement in affecting social change in the Arab village of North Surabaya Ampel. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the structural resources through the development of Al Irsyad. Al Irsyad movement dynamics in affecting social change shows developments in society. Especially in this case the interaction of the Al Irsyad as one of the current Islamic organizations and as an agent of social change in Indonesia. The dynamics are generating the ideas that developed through societal context. Analysis of these organizations will give an overview of the process of social change in Arab descent Surabaya. Through the theory of Radcliffe Brown, Al Irsyad traced through Structural Systems showing the formation mabadi (ideology) and power relations of knowledge in Al Irsyad. Mabadi formation and power relations in the knowledge captured in the dynamic Al Irsyad Al Irsyad movement. Al Irsyad movement dynamics illustrate the changes in society that developed in the village Ampel. The results of this study suggest that Al Irsyad movement benefits and improvements in the quality of education, and proselytizing, social with the Islamic thought in shape by Sheikh Ahmad Ash Syurkati trying to interpret Al Irsyad as a change that align to the right path with bertahkim Qur'an and Hadith. This is what makes Al Irsyad became a large organization and growing over time.
