Abstract :

Abstract Engaging communities conserve forests based on their rights and responsibilities and obligations Ranger has his duties as protector of forest villagers to empower and build. The method is a method of qualitative research, ethnographic approach through participant observation, interviews with 11 informants consisting of (official National Park Management Section 1 district. Tegaldlimo, Police Resort Pancur, Pendarung, Lelono, and tourists), with the technical analysis of qualitative data. The study found the cooperation built by Ranger Pancur resort and communities in conserving forest pendarung with disciplinary socialization forests, logging, planting the seeds together and build empowerment. (i) order the socialization of forest communities that were targeted to receive what is given by the officers and make agreements, (ii) planting seeds that do resort Pancur been empowered to involve the community, (iii) empowerment mentally by such Pancur Resort program rowdy cattle against Pendarung system that aims to help the level of economic welfare.
