Abstract :

Pendahuluan: Henoch-Schonlein Purpura (HSP) merupakan kelainan berupa leukositoklastik vaskulitis (LcV) yang merupakan suatu proses imunologi dan inflamasi yang sangat kompleks. LcV terjadi akibat interaksi antara leukosit dan sel endotel pembuluh darah dan merupakan diagnosis patologi anatomi (PA) yang juga terdapat pada penyakit lain. Tujuan: Memahami imunopatogenesis LcV secara menyeluruh, khususnya pada HSP, serta memahami korelasi antara gambaran klinis dan gambaran histopatologi. Telaah kepustakaan: LcV merupakan reaksi hipersensitivitas tipe III menurut Coombs and Gell. Kompleks imun yang terdiri dari imunoglobulin A (IgA) terdeposit pada pembuluh darah kecil. Paparan antigen dari infeksi, obat-obatan atau faktor lingkungan lain dapat memicu terbentuknya kompleks imun. Simpulan: LcV pada HSP dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor yang saling berhubungan satu sama lain.
