Abstract :

This paper discussed the role of epistemology and postmodernism in work psychology. It is started with a  concise  description  about  the  importance  of  epistemology  and  reflectivity  in  research  and practice  at  a  certain  field.  Further  it  was  briefly  described  how  far  positivism  to  be  a  strong epistemological  approach  in  psychology ,  especially  in  work psychology.  The  end  of  this  paper  showed the  implication  of  epistemological  debate  and  the  role  of  postmodernism  for  research  and  practice  in work  psychology.  This  paper  suggested  to  researchers  of  work  psychology  to  be  more epistemologically  reflective.
