Abstract :
This study aimed to describe the reading motivation ot the Students of Psychology Faculty ofAirlangga University. The data was collected using questionnaire of L2 reading motivation whichderived from Mori's (2002) definition about motivation to read in foreign language, whichconsist of four dimensions: intrinsic motivation, extrinsic motivation, importance of reading,and reading efficacy. The study was conducted to student from batch 2007 to 2010 with total 258participants. Results reveal that the L2 reading motivation of Psychology Student is consideredaverage. This shows that they are not likely to be involved in reading literature which written inEnglish, even though the importance is considered high.
