Abstract :
Every organization, including educational organization, always changes or creating expected changes. The vision of the organization is a guideline for the expected changes. Every part of the organization have to be changed toward this vision. The studi is about Departemen Matakuliah Umum (DMU) University of XYZ. The focus of this study is increasing the learning and teaching‟s quality in DMU XYZ University to support achieving the vision of XYZ University ” It will be done using Appreciative Inquiry to find out the core of change and to do the change based on Kotters. This study using qualitative method. The outcome of this study is the long term plan. The action plan purposed by this study are Content, lecturer‟s behaviour and DMU‟s Management.
