Abstract :

Clown fish (Amphiprion percula) is a fish that has a very beautiful and attractive appearance. The beauty of clown fish found in the dominant orange color combination on the body with three white vertical strip to the edge of the looming black color to the body with different thicknesses The beauty of clown fish became very interested in marine ornamental fish trade. The purpose of Field Work Practice is to study hatchery clown fish (Amphiprion percula), the problems that occurred and get the information about the prospect of hatchery clown fish (Amphiprion percula). Practice of Field Work was conducted in Balai Besar Penelitian dan Pengembangan Budidaya Laut Gondol, Bali, on 17th January until 17th February 2013. Working methods used in the Field Work Practice is descriptive method. Clown fish (Amphiprion percula) hatchery activities began with brood stock rearing, egg rearing, larval rearing and breed rearing. The feed is phytoplankton (Nannochloropsis sp.), with a density of ± 500,000 cells/ml, Rotifera (Branchionus sp.) with a density of 10 ind /ml, Artemia salina as much as 25-200 ind /larvae/day, Copepods as much as 16 ind/larvae/day and artificial feed in the form of pellets NRD given ad libitum. Feeding is done twice per day in the morning at 08.00 am and at 14.00 pm in the afternoon. Water quality is measured consists of temperature from 25,4 to 30; pH 7,3 to 9; salinity 33 to 35 and DO 5 to 6,7. Harvesting once every 6 months with a survival rate of 20% and earn profit Rp. 94.032.000, Return Cost Ratio 4,6 and Pay Back Periode 15 days.
