Abstract :
One type of freshwater ornamental fish that have a high selling price was koi carp (Cyprinus carpio), but in the maintenance of koi carp still isn't separated from health problems, especially at a time of deseased, which resulted in losses of economical for the koi carp farmers. The disease can be caused by bacteria, viruses, parasites, feed or environmental conditions that are less conducive to fish life. One of the many types of diseases attacking a koi carp is Myxobolusis caused by a parasite Myxobolus. Nowadays many traditional herbs that have been found to have substance antiparasitic, one such plant is Mengkudu fruit (Morinda citrifolia). This research aims to know the use and proper concentration of mengkudu fruit (Morinda citrifolia) juice to control infection Myxobolus for carp koi. The research method was (RAK) as an experimental design. The treatment used is Mengkudu fruit juice dose different, that is A (0%), B (1%), C (2%), and D (3%) of each treatment was repeated five times. The main parameters are the number of nodules were observed, the size of the nodules and open close the operculum. The parameters observed were supporting DO, temperature and pH. Data analysis using ANOVA and Kruskall Wallis and to figure out the best treatment done Duncan's Multiple Range Test and Independent two-sample test. The results showed that Mengkudu fruit juice doses of differ a real influence (P < 0.05) Myxobolus against infection. The highest treatment there at treatment C (2%) for the observation number of nodules, treatment D (3%) on the size of the nodules observation and treatment D (3%) on scoring of open close the operculum observation. From the results it can be concluded the treatment D (3%) is the most excellent treatment in the control of Myxobolus. Need to do more research to find out the optimum time and influence in the field as well as outdoor maintenance.
