There is a wide veriety of plants that can be used as traditional medicine in Indonesia. One of plants that can be used as antibacterial is Bitter Leaf. Purpose of this research was to know Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) and Minimum Bacteriocid Concentration (MBC) from extract of bitter leaf (Andrographis panicullata, Nees) with the different concentration to growth of Staphylococcus aureus isolate from Surabaya. Research done in the Laboratory of Bacteriology and Mycology Departement of Microbiology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Airlangga University. The results showed that the extract of bitter leaf has the ability to inhibit of Staphylococcus aureus (MIC) begin a concentration of 25% and the ability to kill of Staphylococcus aureus (MBC) begin a concentration of 50%.
