Abstract :

A research to find out antibacterial activity of crude chlorella suspension against Salmonella pullorum as in vitro test. The aim of this experimental research is to find out the ability of antibacterial activity of crude chlorella suspension on inhibiting Salmonella pullorum as in vitro test. This experimental research using Minimal Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) method to assess turbidity and clearness of the suspension and Spectrophotometer used to read it. All data from Spectrophotometer then analyze using the ANOVA ways.  Crude  chlorella suspension divided into ten different concentrations from 10%-100%. Statistically the MIC start at 50-60% concentration, its assumed that crude chlorella suspension have antibacterial activity on inhibiting Salmonella pullorum as in vitro test, although need more perfection on the method.
