Abstract :

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian probiotik  terhadap peningkatan kadar lemak dan kadar laktosa pada susu sapi perah. Probiotik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Isolat Probiotik Ruminansia”produksi PT.Agritech Indonesia. Kandungan yang dimiliki probiotik adalah Lactobacillus acidophilus, Aspergillus orizae, Saccharomices cerevisiae, Bacillus subtilis, Candida pintolopesii, dan bioaktivator sebagai prebiotik. 10 ekor sapi perah betina peranakan Friesian Holstein berumur enam sampai delapan tahun dengan masa laktasi pada bulan ke-5 sampai ke-6 serta beranak sebanyak empat sampai lima kali. Pemberian probiotik 10 ml/ekor/hari selama 30 hari. Pemberian probiotik meningkatkan kadar lemak 4,01% hari ke-10 sampai ke-12, 6,61 % pada hari ke-28 sampai ke-30. Kadar laktosa 1.81 % pada hari ke-10 sampai ke-12 dan 6.66 % pada hari ke-28 sampai ke-30.
