Abstract :

The study of International Relations (IR) is today challenged by neoliberali-sation as manifested in the threats of ‘massalisasi’ and ‘destratejikasi’. There the issues of ‘limited platform’ and’ structural correspondence’ are on the stake following the ‘failure of specialisation’ and its ‘dependence on Keynesian mar-ket’. Interestingly, surviving modalities are supposedly exist and need to be revealed regarding the centrality of ‘intersection character’, ‘area-studies tra-dition’, and ‘global affinity’ on the one hand and the ‘global analysis’, ’stra-tegic articulation’, international negosiation, and ‘cross-borders arrangement’ competences on the other. Therefore, it is necessary to impose reposition, re-contextualisation, and redefinition of the IR into ‘a study of global inter-sections’, ‘a school of interdisciplinary strategy’, and ‘a couldron of global stra-tegist’. A manifesto for IR’s global-strategic approach is hereby proclaimed.
