Abstract :
The effectiveness of foreign aid from one party to another until today still raises a lot of debate. Departing from the concept of foreign aid aimed at promoting economic development and prosperity of developing countries, both in the long term and short term, many studies analyzing the distribution of foreign aid to the effectiveness and efficiency in order to achieve the intended objectives. One foreign aid given at the time of the country experienced a natural disaster, and it is experienced by Aceh in 2004 in the event of an earthquake and tsunami. In connection with this, the author in this paper will analyze the effectiveness of foreign aid that has been given to the development of Aceh after the 2004 tsunami, in the timeframe of 2004 to 2010.
