Abstract :

This research try to examines the interest of China in supporting multilateralism of Chiang Mai Initiative (CMI) to Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralism (CMIM). In 2000, China began pro active in supporting the formation of multilateral integrated financial cooperation, thus result in Chiang Mai Initiative Multilateralism on March 2010. Through the frame of regionalism, economic integration, and the national interest, this research will explain the importance of China reversed its support to the formation of the CMIM. The conclusions obtained in this explanation research supports the hypothesis that China supports the establishment of fnancial co-operation CMIM to achieve economic prosperity through the creation of the fnancial stability of the Asian region East-Southeast.
