Abstract :
Globalization becomes main feature in every economic evolution nowadays. The symptoms of competitionin this era marked by the emergence of massive imitator that caused by the shifting from place to space as the consequence of open information flow that in the long term would shorten the life cycle of the innovator companies. Cheap labour no longer countable as the determined factor of competitiveness since sooner or later, real price of production factors tend to converge and equalize. This research found that globalization contributes in changing the pattern of competition in this century. Success factors that is emerging in this era is the importance of human capital, that proven by Toyota who has been a top player in global otomotive competition.
