Abstract :
This article aims to present a reflection on the English School in the theory of International Relations. The author delivers critics towards Barry Buzan article in 1993 who elaborated the theory of structural realism, regime theory in the framework of English School. Buzan links up the emergence of international society with logic of structural realism. The author compares the perspective with other English School writers, such as Tim Dunne, Richard Little, and Robert Jackson. The author argues that English School could be developed as a theory to examine the movement of the world society which is supposed to be a bridge (via media) between states and international institutions.
