Abstract :
Conflict between Canadian government and Québec shows cultural frictions on cultureand identity; Québecois, who are Catholic and talks on French language, used to bemarginalized by the existence of majority population who comes with Christian issueson English one. The clash was accommodated by both parties on many negotiationsto take autonomous region as a conflict resolution. The autonomy will be understoodto defend Québecois culture and identity through cultural security aspect on humansecurity issues. Moreover, legal aspects came to be important to bridge the gapsbetween Canadian government and Québec. The outcome will also be considered onrealization of culture and identity on cultural diplomacy issues, especially when theyare used on basic thought, tools, and also goals.
