Abstract :

To report case a bullet in right cavum orbita. Case report, a man twenty two years old with bullet in his right eye from an air rifleduringmorning (1 day before coming to the Emergency Room Dr. Soetomo Hospital). The patients continues to feel the paint in hisright eye with blood on the anterior chamber. Felt right eye blurred after the bullet was shot. The left eye was normal. Examination onthe right eye showed visual aquity 1/300, eyelid edema, subconjunctival bleeding, obscura corpus vitreus was found on examinationthe right funduscopy. Head Computed Tomography scan axial and coronal slices focus orbita showed corpus alienum metal density(air rifle bullet) on the right cavum orbita wall right side of the globes medioposterior, medial thickening of the retina accompanied/edema wall globe until posterior medial. We decided to perform extraction of the bullet by vitrectomy and endolaser. But families ofthe patients decide to let the bullet, and understand the eye will be ptisis.
