Abstract :

This research aims to determine whether there is relationship between self-acceptance on thephysical condition of the tendency of anorexia nervosa among girls adolescent in SMAN 1Banjarmasin. According to Havighurst (Hurlock, 1994), one developmental task of adolescenceis to accept their physical condition and use it effectively. But if teens are not able to accept theirphysical condition, it allows for the emergence of eating disorders, one of which is anorexianervosa (Grigg, Bowman, Redman, 1996). The research was conducted in girl adolescence whoattend school in SMAN 1 Banjarmasin. The amounts of subjects are 100 people. The result of thisresearch that there is a negative relationship between the acceptance (self-acceptance) on thephysical condition of the tendency of anorexia nervosa among girl adolescence in SMAN 1 Banjarmasin.
