Abstract :
This study aimed to determine whether there is a correlation between peer social support and self adjustment in students with hearing impairment in the inclusive school. The participants of this research were 22 students with hearing impairment at SMAN 10 and SMKN 8 Surabaya. This research using psychological scale for collecting data. Peer social support based on Social Support Theory by Sarafino (2008) and self adjustment based on Self Adjustment Theory by Schneider (1964) was measured using a measuring instrument developed by the authors. Data analyzed in the study using Spearman's Rho correlation techniques. The result of the research shows that correlation between peer social support and self adjustment was 0,011 with significance of 0,000. Significance value was smaller than the probability value of 0,05 indicated that there was a correlation between peer social support and self adjutment in students with hearing impairment in the inclusive school.
