Abstract :
The aimed of this study was to find out the influence of fear of failure and achievement motivation to academic procrastination in college student who derived from acceleration program. This study was conducted on 135 active college students from Airlangga University who derived from acceleration program. Data collection tool in the form of questionnaires compiled by researchers, which is the scale of fear of failure, achievement motivation, and academic procrastination. Based on the result analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence between fear of failure and achievement motivation to academic procrastination in college student who derived from acceleration program (p = 0,000; r = 0,630; r = 0,396). The formula of this regression analysis is Y = 99,634 - 0,028 X - 0,614 X. For the effect of each independent variable, it can be seen that there is no influence between the fear of failure to academic procrastination (p = 0,270; r = 0,096; r = 0,009), while achievement motivation have a significant influence to academic procrastination (p = 0,000; r = -0,626; r = 0,392).
