Sikap kerja yang berhubungan dengan keluhan subjektif pada penjahit di jalan patua surabaya

Abstract :
ABSTRACT: Subjective complaints are symptomatic complaints and unpleasant feeling that felt by respondent. Incidence of subjective complaints is influenced by individual characteristics, job factors, and environmental factors. Tailors occupation which done by the tailors on jalan Patua Surabaya can make some subjective complaints. The objective of this research was to study work attitude related to subjective complaints of tailors on jalan Patua Surabaya. This was an observational analitic research. The population of the research was 58 tailors. Data were collected by interviewing 49 tailors and observation. Data octained were analyzed by Chi-Square test. The independents variables of this research were respondent characteristic (aged, gender, smoking and exercise habits, work period, long hours of work) and works attitude. The dependent variable research was subjective complaints. The result of this research show all male gender respondent, 86% respondents had smoking habits, 51% respondents had exercise habits, 67% respondents had been working for ≤ 12 years, worked with ≤ 8 hours a day, 80% respondents with static sitting position and all at the responden work with unergonomic attitude. Showed that 69% respondent had subjective complaints and there were relation between subjective complaint and smoking habits (p = 0,36), exercise habit (p = 0,47), and work attitude (p = 0,36). It is recommended that respondent to not sit with static position for long time and take a rest for 5–10 minutes during there job hours.
