Abstract :
Objective: To determine differences in the characteristics of first urinary tract stones and recurrent urinary tract stones and determine the relationship of each variables with the incidence of urinary tract stones in SMF Urology RSUD Dr. Soetomo period January 1, 2012 - December 31, 2013. Material & Methods: This research is an analytical study with cross sectional method which the data were obtained from medical records. Consecutive patients with records available in period of January 2012-December 2013 was enrolled. The data was analyzed using independent t test and Chi square test. Statistical test was considered significant at p0.05). Conclusion: There were no significant difference in age, sex, sodium, potassium, uric acid, serum creatinine, urine pH, and urine specific gravity. There were a difference in urine culture but not significant.
