Risk assessment dan pengendalian risiko pada sektor pertanian (studi kasus di pertanian bawang merah desa kendalrejo, kecamatan bagor, kabupaten nganjuk)

Abstract :

Agriculture sector is the sector in each stage/work process there were some potential hazard that could cause work accidents and occupational diseases (PAK). Therefore, risk assessment as a from risk management that should be carried out to identify the hazards in the agricultural sector, how far the risk level give effect for appropriate control measures. The general objective of this research is to conduct a risk assessment and risk control measures in the agricultural sector Kendalrejo village, Bagor distric, Nganjuk region. This research was conducted by observational with cross-sectional design. Observation was held the sources of hazards and effort to control. Interviews were conducted to workers and owners of agricultural land in the village of Kendalrejo, Bagor distric, Nganjuk region. Variabel of the research are employment in the agricultural sector, hazard, hazard identification, risk assessment, risk analysis, risk evaluation and risk control. The result of hazard identification, showed that there were 69 potential hazards that cause 72 risk. Risk assessment that has been done conclude that there were 34 priority 1 risk, 27 substantial risk, 7 priority 3 risk, 3 acceptable risk, and 1 very high risk. There were no risk control so risks weren’t well managed. The conclusion are most of the risk included in priority 1 and substantial, therefore risk control needed as soon as possible to reduce the risks. The recommendation are agricultural sector cooperated with the government to do risk control, risk assessment regularly, socialization about K3, and procurement of PPE.   Keywords: hazard, risk assessment, the agricultural sector
