Abstract :

ABSTRACT Winding is one of the stage in the production process which be found in some of machines and totally workers be in contact with the machines and materials from process spinning have a risk in high work accident. There fore it is needed to be implement of risk assessment be basic in planning recovery accident. This study was conducted to assess re-identification of danger and risk controller in the proses of production units winding. This study is including descriptive observasional study in the manner of approach cross sectional. Primary data was collected by means of observation and interview. Object of this research came from of the production process winding PT. Kusumaputra Santosa, Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah. All data collected will be captured and presented in table then the result of processing data will be analyzed in narative. The result showed that risk assessment conducted by PT. Kusumaputra Santosa, Karanganyar, Jawa Tengah not effective. Risk assessment from production process winding obtained the result of hazard identification found as 27 potensial hazard and 25 risk, analysis and evaluaction of occuptional risk from the proses of production units winding showed that a high level of risk amount to 7, the level of medium risk as 18. Residual risk process of production units winding obtained 16 residual risk from 25 of all. Keywords: yarn, risk assessment, winding
