Guidance on awareness h5n1 avian influenza

Abstract :

While H5N1 avian influenza outbreak caused by H5N1 virus is affecting South east of Asia, Include Indonesia, people feel worried and panic. The first case in Indonesia, It’s reported that in September 19, 2005 by Minister of Health Republic of Indonesia, Avian influenza is a fatal zoonosis disease which have caused death on many people. In most of South east Asia countries including Indonesia. WHO and Indonesia government have produced a guidance on awareness H5N1 avian influenza, such as to quarantine affected avians, to monitor avians in population and a zoo by spraying with antiseptic to the cases, to increase personal hygiene and environmental sanitation to farmer, and to use personal protective equipment in poultry. It’s done due resortment, of closest relation between avian and human. Until now there is no an effective antiviral drug for human, It’s only for avians WHO says fever until 38°C, cough and rhinorrhea, sore throat, he must be brought to hospital immediatelly, becaused suspected avian influenza. Further guidance from WHO is available in the following areas, a surveillance for human cases, b. Guidelines for infection control in health care facilities.
