Abstract :
Work motivation is main ofasset which need more attention consistently from guidance of related-organization. Those work motivation as a booster aspect of employee behavior is vitalvariablesin human resource development in order to employee can respons the duties and responsibilities of their work. The hierarchical, human resources in Library of Airlangga University as one of provider service and information service institute for all students of Airlangga University have been divided by two, there are operational (administration employee) and functional (librarian). The Employee who has work motivation higher will more focus within do their jobsas good as possible because work motivation connect with how can people to get respons and behave their job applied. According to Hezberg from Stoner and Freeman (2000) explain that the group of external motivation are : 1) Company policy and administration; 2) Supervision; 3) Salary, wages, and other benefits include incentives; 4) Interpersonal relationship; 5) Status; 6) Job security; 7) Working conditions. Meanwhile, the group of internal motivasion are : 1) Achievement; 2) Recognition; 3) Responsbility; 4) Growth or possibility of growth; 5) The work Itself. The kind of research in order to comparative explanative and the method used survey with total respondents are 74 peoples. The purpose from this research is to find out whether be be found the difference of work motivation between librarian with administration employee in Library of Airlangga University. The analysis method used Independent Sample T-Test Based on analysis results get the conclusion that there are having the difference between librarian with administration employee towards indicators are : 1) Company policy and administration; 2) Supervision; 3) Status; 4) Job Security; 5) Achievement; 6) Recognition; 7) The work Itself, with the value of signicantion (α) < 0,05 for each indicator
