Abstract :

The goal of this research out of reveal about young activities through involvement on social media. Because teens are net generation who actived on internet used and involved culture practice its called by Participatory Cultures. They using affinity space to make interactions to each other. Teens Participation behavior and involved through social media with form communication, colaboration, and contribute an idea also teens produce online content. Teens arent become consument but also they actively involved to production process. They actively using social media, sharing information which they own moreover, they produce creative content through online media.  Participatory Cultures who did by student of SMA Negeri 2 Kediri apparently through form of participatory cultures as Affiliation, Expression, Colaboration Problem Solving and Circulation. The research provides that the student were actively joined to participation oline on four form  participatory cultures. With result visible from teens activities through internet , First, membership in online comunities, centered around various form of media such as Facebook, Twitter, Path, Instagram (100%). Second, Producing new creative form such as digital sampling, fanvideo, fanfiction, edited photo (58,1%). Third, working together in teams, to complete task and develop new knowledge, such as through Wikipedia, alternative reality gaming(47,7%). The last is Circulation, shaping the flow of media, such as Blogging (36%). Teens interaction are sharing knowledge, experience, skill to another participants on affinity space produce a product called by “Community Of Learning” (Jenkins, 2009). Form this practise, suggest potential benefits including oppurtinities for peer to peer learning and the development of skills valued in the modern workplace
