The disorder are the increasing amount of total cholesterol, LDL, triglycerides and decreasing amount of HDL. Lidah buaya (Aloe vera) is a herbal plant suggested therapy for diabetic patients. This research experimental wich had objective to prove that aloe vera juice has a hypoglikemic and decrease amoutn of triglycerides effect. The aims of this study is to find a prove and give the information about the benefits of Aloe vera to decrease the amount of blood glucose and triglycerides. This study is experimental research. There are 20 Rattus norvegicus that divided into 4 groups with difference of treatment. Group A is a negative control without any treatment of Aloe vera juice. We gave 5 mg/kgBB Aloe vera juice for Group B, 5.5 mg/kgBB for group C, and 6 mg/kgBB for group D. Those treatment were given for 14 days. Oneway Anova result showed a significant of blood glucose and triglyserides level decreasing between group, except in negative control experience increasing blood glucose. Oneway Anova test continued with within group post hoc test showed that blood glucose level before and after treatment in all group were significantly different. The significant different of the blood glucose level before and after treatment in sample group indicated that jus aloe vera has a hypoglikemic effect with biggest decreasing in aloe vera juice 6 mg/kgbb/day.
