Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of high fat diet on metabolic syndrome markers in rats (Sprague dawley). There was10 female rats was divided into 2 groups. The first one was the group having the standart diet for 10 weeks and the second one was the group having the high fat diet for 10 weeks. The result showed, in the high fat diet group was found that body weight, visceral fat, blood pressure, trigliseride level, LDL cholesterol level was greater, and HDL cholestero level was lower than in the standart group. The conclusion of this study said that the high fat diet in rats can induce metabolic syndrome
