Abstract :

The main objective of the research is to evaluate of the fresh and the diluted semen with egg yolk-citrate of the Local, Fat Tail and Merino Rams after storaging at various temperature. The collected data of the fresh sperm evaluated were analyzed using Randomized Completely Design. The data of the diluted semen with egg yolk-citrate evaluated were analyzed using Randomized Completely Block Design with 3x3 factorial pattern. The results indicated that the semen of Rams had significant effect (P0,01) among the Rams with according kind of the storage temperatures on the storage ability and acidity of the the diluted semen with egg yolk-citrate until the 50 % sperm viability. The kind of the Rams and various temperature no affected significantly (P>0,01) on the storage ability and acidity of the diluted semen with egg yolk-citrate. It can be concluded that the Local, Fat Tail and Merino Rams sperm have criteria as the best sperm quality.
