Abstract :
One hundred and forty common carp fries were use in the experiment. They were divided into 3 treatment groups with 5 replications. Benzalkonium chloride (BKC) was used in the first experiment, potassium permanganat (PP) in the second and no disinfectant in the third. There were twice disinfections. The data observed was the total bacteria on the skin on the 0, 5th, 10th, 15th day after the second disinfections. The purpose of this experiment was to find out the effectiveness of BKC and PP in decreasing the total bacteria in the common carp fry. The result was that the dipping of the common carp with BKC or PP could decrease the total bacteria on skin. The dipping with BKC 2 ppm for 30 minutes was effective enough to the decrease the total bacteria in 15 days and with PP 3 ppm for 30 minutes was only effective to decrease the total bacteria in 10 days.
