Abstract :

The objective of this study is to find out the effect of laserpuncture stimulation on the reproduction point of male Mojosari duck to weight and volume of testes. The experimental design used in this study was a completely randomised design. Eighteen male Mojosari ducks were divided randomly into three groups. Group I (P0) being not subjected to laserpuncture, group II (P1) being subjected to laserpuncture with dose 0,2 J, and group III (P2) being subjected to laserpuncture with dose 0,5 J. Laserpuncture was done on the ducks’ reproduction point five times in every three days during the span of thirteen days. One day after the last day, ducks  were dissected for examination of the weight and volume of testes. The obtained data was then analyzed  using qualitative descriptive analysis using Anova and Duncan Multiple. The result showed that laserpuncture stimulation on the reproduction point of male mojosari duck increased the volume of testes (P≤0.05) but did not increase the weight of testes (P≥0.05).
