Abstract :
Menopause is a natural and universal event in women’s life cycle. Menopause is defined as the end of menstrual periods can be determined retrospectively. Menopause is characterized by physical changes, hormonal and psychosocial nature simultaneously.Although the bodies of all women work in the same way, women experience varies to face menopause. In addition the changes in the menstrual cycle, women who experience menopause often report a number of physical and emotional symptoms. It is often difficult to determine whether the symptoms are caused by hormonal or psychosocial factors.Decision making hormone therapy for women involves balancing the potential benefits against the potential risks of hormone therapy. High prevalence psychiatric disorders in elderly women and the difficulties managing this disorder with psychopharmacology, several authors have explored the benefits of psychotherapy for menopausal women.
