Abstract :
Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder, which makes people who have it to be disable. The prevalence is approximately 1% -1.3% of the population that can be found all over the world. Psycho-education is part of psychosocial intervention beside psychofarmacho-therapy.The diagnosis is established by a group of symptoms that characteristic for schizophrenia and can not be enforced by laboratory tests. Prognosis in men worse than women. Deterioration of cognitive function may occur in patients with schizophrenia, which can cause long-term problems and cause most people with schizophrenia very dependent on their families or caregivers so that both the family and the caregiver of schizophrenic patients in desperate need of an information and psycho-education, which is useful to prepare for patients survival. Marriage is one that generally faced by everyone, no exceptation well as to the people with schizophrenia and prospective partner.
