Abstract :

Schizophrenia is a severe mental disorder that remains a crucial problem in psychiatry. Adherence to treatment is an important things to reduce risk of relaps and improve long term function., but nonadherence found at 40-50% patient. Adherence problem in schizophrenia had many consequences for patient, clinician and mental health provider and society, so that holistic management is important, include farmacotherapy and psychosocial intervention. One of psychosocial intervention  is compliance therapy. Compliance therapy significanly improve insight,attitude toward medication. this is a combination of cognitive approaches and motivational interviewing to enhance medication adherence
