Vocational rehabilitation for patient with schizophrenia

Abstract :
The majority of patients with schizophrenia want to work, but they are at the lowest level in the ability to work in groups of disability. Vocational rehabilitation interventions have been developed to improve their vocational capacities. Most vocational rehabilitation programs have a positive impact on work-related activities. Recent research suggests that support for the work on the approach to vocational rehabilitation approaches prove more effective than the transition and protected working. Vocational rehabilitation interventions can also have a positive impact on clinical outcomes such as medication adherence, symptom reduction and relapse, as well as reducing the use of inpatient services. Teamwork involves mental health professionals and their professional vocational, has an important role in promoting employment opportunities for schizophrenia patients in terms of helping them to find work and survive in their work.
