Abstract :
Introduction: Efforts that can be done to prevent the occurrence of malnutrition in infants is to provide food supplementary (PMT) appropriate for children. Understanding of the fulfillment of nutrition for children under five can be obtained through the information in the form of counseling from health workers when following activities Posyandu. Method: Activities carried out through health education and training to Posyandu cadres. The evaluation was conducted using pre and post test questionnaires. Results: There was an increase in the mean score of the questionnaire results from the mean score of 75 to 80. Discussion: Health cadres are the primary health care provider or provider of primary health information. The role of cadres as providers of information should be supported by strong knowledge and understanding of the material to be informed.
