Analysis of humoral immune response (igg) in rabbit immunized with proteins of leucocytozoon caulleryi

Abstract :

The aim of this study to explored the humoral immune response through detection of IgG antibody titers in rabbits immunized with the proteins from the liver containing L.caulleryi schizont as antigenic proteins. This study conducted a few steps: 1) isolation of L.caulleryi schizont from liver chicken; 2) isolation of whole proteins of L.caulleryi; 3) immunization of rabbits with whole proteins of L.caulleryi schizont, with the 500 μg dose, a booster 5 times every 2 weeks, 4) ELISA assay for measurement of OD values and antibody IgG titers. The results showed that the proteins of L. caulleryi schizont can induce humoral and cellular immune responses of the rabbits with indicators of Optical Density (OD) value and antibody titers (IgG) increased significantly in the 3rd booster.
