Abstract :
This overview analyze and explain the essence problem that related to the biosynthetic pathway and regulation of sex pheromone of M. domestica. A number of enzyme start the development of sex pheromone slowly. The growth, modification or type changing of what exist in normal metabolism of compounded sex pheromon. The formation of sex pheromone of female M. domestica originate from elongation of fatty acyl-CoA and continued with hydrocarbon formation. M. domestica use at least three hormones to regulate biosynthesis of sex pheromone. Ovarium product ecdysteroid to regulate synthesis and activity of one or more fatty acyl-CoA with elongation. Lipophorin may play an important role in transporting hydrocarbon, include sex pheromone from oenocyte cell to cuticular surface through active mechanism .
