Abstract :
This research aims to demonstrate the effectivity of Rat Bone Marrow MesenchymalStem Cell therapy on rats (Rattus norvegicus) exposed to carbon black as observed fromcaspase-3 expression. This reseach uses a completely randomized design with factorialpattern. Fourty-eight gravid female rats were divided into six treatment groups. Theresult of the caspase-3 expression in each treatment showed no significant differencesin the groups treated with RBMMSC in each gravid groups treatment (therapy GD 11and GD 17) were exposed to carbon black and not treated with RBMMSC. The sameare indicated by the normal trophoblast cells (cytotrophoblast and syncytiotrophoblastcells) in the RBMMSC treated group showed no significant difference with the groupexposed to carbon black only. From the result of this research indicate that Rat BoneMarrow Mesenchymal Stem Cell therapy in Rattus norvegicus exposed to carbon blackhave not been able to reduce expression of caspase-3 and increased percentage of normaltrophoblast cells (cytotrophoblast and syncytiotrophoblast cells).
