Abstract :
The aim of this study was to produce an attenuated strain of Eimeria necatrix by a serial passage of precocious lines. This study used the histopathology preparations for confirming the attenuation of E. necatrix. Twenty four male chickens were randomly divided into three groups. The first group was infected with parent lines of E. necatrix. The second group was infected with the precocious lines from the first groupwhile the third group was infected with the precocious lines from the second group. The sample used malechicken jejunum. Jejunum histopathology preparations used Hematoxylin Eosin staining. Histopathologicalpreparations were scored under a microscope with a magnification of 400-1000x. The results showed significant differ damages of jejunum epithelial villi (P<0.05) between the first, second and third passages.
