Abstract :
The aim of this research was to stady the effect of hepatoprotector extract sapogeninof sambiloto on decrease alanin aminotransferase (ALT) and aspartat aminotransferase(AST) was induction damage of liver by paracetamol toxic dose on rat. This researchwas conducted using 100 male rat, strain Rattus norvegicus three month of age, devide 5groups, such as, first group is negative control is healty rat, and second, third, fourd andfifth are treatment groups each were given extract sapogenin of sambiloto in dose 0 mg/200 g bw/ peroral; 3,78 mg/200 g bw/ peroral; 7,56 mg/200 g bw/ peroral; and 11,34 mg/kg bw/ peroral for 10 days. In 10th days the treatment groups were given paracetamol dosetoxic 250 mg/200 g bw. Resuls of this research extract sapogenin of sambiloto effectiveas hepatoprotector to decrease of ALT and AST level on damage of liver induce byparacetamol toxic dose.
