Potensi alkaloid achyranthes aspera linn terhadap ekspresi protein bax sel kanker payudara pada mencit (mus musculus) yang diinduksi benzopyrene

Abstract :
Cancer was a complete disease in the world, include in Indonesia. In 2010, WHO showed that cancer was a 2nd cause of death after cardiovascular disease, and a 6th cause a death in Indonesia. A third a cancer suffered was able to be cured before metastase case. When metastase phase occurred, mortality was high and needed an sppropriste chemotherapy treatment. Ideal chemotherapy medicine or anticancer was able to kill whole cancer cell without endanger a normal cell. Aims of research was to prove alkaloid potential within Achyranthes aspera Linn leaf to Bax protein expression in mice cancer mammae induced benzopyrene. Thirty female of mice aged 3-4 months, 20-30 gram of body weight. Female divided into 5 treatment groups which consisted of six mice. Mice wasinjected by benzopyrene intra mammae 10 mg/kg body weight, twice a week during 8 weeks in order to infect a cancer of mammae. A cancer signed by swollen in mice’s mammae and proven by proliferation mammae cell in histopathological representation. Then, mice got therapy used alkaloid Achyranthes aspera Linn fraction peroral through negative control treatment were health mice, 4 groups of mice suffer of mammae cancer P0, P1, P2, and P3 which each group treated Metotreksatdosis 30 mg/kg body weight, 60 mg/kg body weight, and 100 mg/kg body weight. Result of Bax protein expression research after stastical test showed significant differences in 5 groups treatment, as large dose of Achyranthes aspera Linn as Bax protein expression. Conclusion Achyranthes aspera Linn which was given peroral caused improvement of Bax protein in mice mammae cancer induced benzopyrene thus could improve apoptosis and used to be anticancer.
