Supplementation of insulin like growth factor – i complex protein of goat seminal plasma to quality of acrosome cap of sperm after centrifugation

Abstract :
The aim of this research was to study the supplementation Protein Insulin Like Growth Factor –I Complex seminal plasma on quality of acrosome sperm after centrifugation. First experiment was conducted to isolate Protein Insulin Like Growth Factor – I Complex from goat seminal plasma . Second experiment was conducted to role of Protein Insulin Like Growth Factor – I Complex to quality of acrosome cap of sperm after centrifugation. Semen was collected and then added with Bracket and Oliphant (BO) medium and centrifugated for 5 minutes 600 G. And then pellet of sperm divided into three groups. The first, second and third group supplemented with 3 x 106 of spermconcentration. All of groups incubated for 30 minutes and 45 minute in BO medium, BO medium plus Protein IGF-I Complex and Protein IGF-I Complex medium respectively. This sperm was characterized based to quality of acrosome cap of sperm. The result showed that the percentage to quality of acrosom cap of sperm after centrifugation was significantly different in three groups (p<0.05), which the highest to quality of acrosome cap of sperm was found in Protein IGF-I Complex medium. It was concluded that Protein IGF-I Complex of goat seminal plasma could increase toquality of acrosome cap of sperm.
